Archimedes Training, founded by Sarah Blackwell, is the largest provider of Forest Schools, Beach Schools and Outdoor Learning qualifications in the UK and the worlds only international provider.

In November 2011, Archimedes Training was part of a UK Trade Delegation and, in partnership with the British Embassy in Sydney, met with a variety of key facilitators in education who were interested in getting Forest Schools and Bush Schools training delivered in Australasia. We met with leaders from Department of Education, The Director of the Association of Independent Schools, the CEO of Steiner Education, Heads of University Education departments (including early years), leaders in Educational research and members of the local indigenous Aboriginal community…and many more!

After an extremely successful mission, Archimedes has now set up the Archimedes Australasia training centre which will act as a 'base' for all courses in Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and the surrounding areas.

Archimedes are now looking to have international centres across the world and will be piloting training in the USA, Canada and Dubai in 2013/2014.
